ביוגרפיה
ד"ר מהא ארסלאן, סיימה את לימודי התואר ראשון והתואר השני בחינוך המיוחד באוניברסיטת חיפה. היא בעלת תואר שלישי בחינוך המיוחד מאוניברסיטת חיפה. עבודת הדוקטורט שלה עסקה בנחישות עצמית ואוריינטציית עתיד של בני נוער ערבים עם מוגבלות שכלית קלה, בהשוואה לאוריינטציה של הוריהם בנוגע לעתיד ילדיהם.
ד"ר ארסלאן נחשבת לאחת ממייסדות המסלול לחינוך המיוחד במכללה האקדמית סכנין יחד עם עמיתיה הוותיקים. תחומי המחקר שלה מתמקדים באוריינטציית עתיד של בני נוער עם מוגבלויות שונות, הורות לילדים עם צרכים מיוחדים ושילוב. היא משתתפת בכנסים בינלאומיים ומקומיים ופרסמה מאמרים בכתבי עט שפיטים.
